Mentoring the Called in Your Church
God is already stirring people in your congregation toward ministry and missions. This session equips pastors and church leaders to recognize those callings early, walk alongside them with intention, and build a culture where the called are discovered, developed, and sent from the local church.
STUCK: “I Know I’m Called, But I’ve Got Obstacles”
Family, finances, education, fear, timing: the road from calling to going is rarely clear. Hear honest stories from those who have faced real barriers, and find practical next steps for moving forward when your calling feels stalled.
Moving from Secular to Sacred Conversations: Connecting Our Everyday Conversations to Jesus
Mission doesn’t start overseas. It starts in the conversations you’re already having. Learn simple, natural ways to turn everyday interactions with coworkers, neighbors, and friends toward the hope of the gospel, drawn from years of ministry in a post-Christian context.

STUCK: “I Know I’m Called, But I’ve Got Obstacles”
Jay and Beverly Bellamy began ministry in the Metro District, pastoring the Alliance Church in Middletown, NY, from 1989 to 1994. They then became Alliance International Workers, training pastors and church leaders at Bible schools in the Republic of Congo and Gabon. Since 2013, they have helped the Congolese Alliance plant churches among the Vili, a people historically resistant to the gospel. Through oral Bible storytelling, the missionaries they trained are reaching hundreds of Vili. The Bellamys are now developing a Missions School to equip Congolese missionaries to reach more than 60 peoples who have yet to hear God’s Word in their own language.
