Reaching West African Muslims
“Engage unreached people groups—right here in the Bronx—with the hope of Jesus.”
📍 Bronx, New York
Team: Jacques & Andrea Bamogo
Gospel Access: Only 1 church for every 52,500 West Africans in NYC
Partnership Needs: Monthly support, prayer, teams, and encouragement
Current Focus: Serving West African immigrants with ESL, advocacy, and hospitality
Vision: Plant a church in NYC for Muslim-background West African believers
New York is one of the most globally diverse cities on Earth—and one of the most strategic. Among the 210,000+ West African immigrants in metro NYC, many come from unreached, Muslim-majority people groups. In some communities, there are only a handful of known believers.
Jacques and Andrea Bamogo are investing in long-term gospel presence among these neighbors through friendship, hospitality, and holistic care. As trust builds, so do opportunities to share the gospel, start discipleship groups, and build a new kind of church—from and for West Africans.
Support Needed: Monthly Partnerships, Prayer, Short-Term Teams
Country Coordinator: Brian and Michelle Davis
🎯Fundraising Target: $3,500 in Monthly Support
