Living as One in Christ
The Gospel brings reconciliation not only between humanity and God, but also among people. Through Christ, the dividing walls that separate us are broken down, and we are formed into one body.
Racial unity, therefore, is not simply a social concern, but a deeply theological reality rooted in the work of Jesus. As Paul writes in Ephesians 2, Christ Himself is our peace, making one new humanity out of many.
For the Church, this calling invites both conviction and humility. It calls us to examine where division persists, to pursue understanding across difference, and to embody the reconciling love of Christ in tangible ways.
What Engagement Can Look Like
Churches may engage racial unity by:
Building intentional relationships across cultural and congregational lines
Facilitating conversations grounded in Scripture and shaped by grace
Practicing repentance, forgiveness, and restoration where needed
Creating shared spaces for worship, fellowship, and collaboration
